Also known as Eduardo Vaugier. I'm a web developer/designer and engineering student living in Mexico City.
Appomodoro is a personal project to learn more of HTML5 and Google's App Engine.
FBalerts was a service for keeping in touch with specific people in Facebook. Offline right now, but I hope it'll be back soon.
I made the design and programmed the back-end, the news ticker, etc. I also redesigned the logo and their stationery.
I'm not used to making brochures, but after making their website, the people in Intelicast trusted me to make this one.
"Canica" the clown asked me to take the image design that another company had done for him and transform it to a website. I added a gallery, wallpaper download, and a simple contact form.
My name is Eduardo Vaugier and I'm 21 years old. I adopted the nickname of Cool Acid since high school after seeing "Hackers" with Angelina Jolie. Since then I used this nick for almost everything related to Internet, and has remained to date.
I was born in Mexico City one day of 1989. Since then I've lived there, wishing I lived elsewhere. I always liked computers and since childhood I had access to them. My first computer was an Atari 65XE like this one.
At age 11 I used Internet for the first time and then I went every other day to the cybercafé to fill my floopy disk with Scooby Doo and Dexter's Laboratory images for my school works.
When I was 13 I learned to program in QBasic, and from that moment I fell in love with programming. I haven't stopped learning new languages and programming since then. I've learned and used so many different languages, including: Visual Basic, ActionScript, C, C++, Java, PHP, HTML, CSS, SQL, Javascript and my current favorite programming language, Python.
By the year 2005, when I was 15, I started designing websites. I practiced with my blog, and changed the design every two months. Thanks to some friends and lots of free time (because when you're 15 you don't have much to do), I really improved my designs and my programming. Then I finished high school and decided to study Computer Engineering, while still designing websites in my spare time. I am currently in the last semester of my career ready for my next step. If you think we should work together, you should definitely contact me.
